DC-Car Information about DC08-I-Decoder
|
The decoder is built on a board of 7 x 15 mm in a thickness of 2.5mm.
The board is professionally manufactured and assembled in a printed circuit board factory.
new functions:
- Extensive control of up to 2 servos (eg: Repeat mode, free position selection, steering, 2nd motor, etc.)
- soft acceleration and deceleration when changing gears
- Full support of the sound module TBS-Micro by Thomas Benedini for speed-dependent driving noise and sound
authentic additional sounds such as compressed air horn, horn, siren, power take-off, etc.
- up to 3 additional multifunction ports (function definable via CVs)
- Switching rear distance LEDs on and off separately
- prepared for active infrared feedback (reports vehicle type, vehicle number, battery status, status of turn signals and front lights)
- Travel time limit depending on the built-in battery, this can be precisely defined via CV's
- Chargeable upgrade from DC05 to DC07 is possible with existing update socket without decoder exchange
Her you find the actual CV-List
The diffent versions:
o is delivered a single circuit board
o Infrared receiver is integrated with on the board
o either an external voltage DC-DC convertor or LiPo battery or three NiCD / NiMH cells are required for operation
There are seperate outputs available for:

DCC protocol
Short DCC addresses from 1 - 127, long addresses from 128 - 9999.
Operating modes:
1. The vehicle starts immediately after switching on with a specified driving position
2. The vehicle is stationary after switching on and can only be started by a command from the digital control unit or function module.
3. The vehicle is stationary after switching on and can only be started by a command from the digital control center.
4. Assignment of the function keys
F00 light 1, taillight
F01 turn signal left
F02 turn signal right
F1 + F2 hazard lights
F03 Photo transistors front on / off
F04 Reed contact on / off (ignore stop position)
F05 blue light
F06 front flashers
F07 light 2
F08 MF 1 / light 4
F09 MF 1 light 4 (if CV 20 set to 8)
F11 MF 4 (depending on the CV 111 configuration)
F12 MF 5 (depending on the CV 25 configuration)
F13 infrared LED on / off switch back)
Note: To use the functions F10-F13 with the DC-Car-Booster, an upgrade of the booster firmware is necessary. Please contact the DC Car Service.
When the decoder or vehicle is switched on, the following light sequence is displayed:
1.) Brake light and hazard lights short
2.) hazard lights short
3.) hazard lights short
4.) hazard lights short
The head light and the tail light can only be switched on or off together. Indoor or side lights, fog lamps, etc. can be switched extra.
The two blue lights blink at different speeds. Thus, a real representation of an emergency vehicle is given.
You can also switch for modern emergency vehicles on double flash or on inverted LED flash units.
