Type of transmittor
There are IR LEDs in different designs and wavelengths.
Type 1 Short Distance Emitter
- SMD type 0603 without wire (1 x 1.2 mm)
- 3 mm wide beam 60 degrees with short connections
- 3 mm narrow radiating 40 degrees with short connections
- 5 mm with short connections
Type 2 Long Distance Emitter
- 5 mm 20 degrees Emitting angle with short connections
- 5 mm 40 degrees Emitting angle with short connections
For short distances
Using type 1:
The IR emitters are used at the roadside. They emit to the vehicle.
Depending on the resistance, the range is 5-30 cm. Sunlight reduces the range.
These emittors are used with:
- Function module
- Stoptiny
- [Yield regulation]]
All DC cars react to these emitters.

Verwendung von Type 2:
Durch die andere Übertragungsart wird eine größere Reichweite erreicht. Theoretisch sind bis zu 7 Meter möglich. Deshalb können IR-Strahler von der Decke die Modelle steuern. Die Abstrahlung ist von den IR-LED abhängig.
Die Modelle müssen mit dem Fernempfaenger (LCIR) ausgerüstet sein.
Die Baugruppen sind pro Ausgang (7 vorhanden) für 5 LED in Reihe ausgelegt.
Die Kurzstreckenstrahler für Function modul sind nicht geeignet für den Betrieb mit DC-Car-Booster oder PC-Transmitter
