Servodecoder
General
The classic decoder with 8 servo outputs with 2 positions each for
Turnouts, branches, signals, barriers (with luffing), gates, fairground models with servo drive, etc.
After activation, the servo is switched off. This avoids overloading and high power consumption.
Unlike most competing products, the S8 does not shut down all the servos at the same time, but individually.
This avoids a flutter of the servos due to small disturbances.
Important is also the Power ON switch-lock. Most servos can stay turned off at power ON.
This prevents uncontrolled movement when switching on. (Power dependent)
Only with the actuation the desired position is approached.

Für Neueinsteiger ist Windigopet zu empfehlen. Der Servodecoder die Servodecoder von DC-Car können ohne eine Digitalzentrale mit Windigipet am PC benutzt werden.
Das Nachrüsten von bestehenden Anlagen mit DC-Car-Servodecoder ist auch kein Problem.
In der Software wie Windigipet, Traincontroller, Railware, ITrain usw. werden die Servo wie Weichen behandelt.
Bei Austausch von Magnetartikeldecodern beachten: Der S8 braucht 8 aufeinander folgende Adressen.
Wenn der S4DCC-MOT benutzt wird, ist das ersetzten eines K87 einfacher.
Dann dürften keine Änderungen an der Software notwendig sein.
Sonderanwendung
Wenn an einem Servodecoder noch Anschlüße übrig sind können die auch für andere Zwecke benutzt werden.
Modelle mit 5 Volt Technik können für eine mit dem Programmer voreingestellt Zeit in Funktion gehen.
z.B. eine Schalter/Sensor kann ein Objekt starten, das nach 10 Sekunden wieder aus geht.
- Antrieben z.B. Windräder, Wassermühlen, Kirmesmodelle mit Motorantrieb, Kräne mit Motor usw.
- DC-Car-Fahrzeugdecoder in Standmodellen Licht, Blinker, Blaulicht, können voreingestellt werden und auch das Stopsignal aussenden.
- Sound die Sound-Tinys können durch eine Weichenadresse für eine kurze Zeit ausgelöst werden.
- Sound die Sound-Prozessoren können durch 3 Weichenadresse für bis zu 7 Töne abspeilen.
- wird ein 5 Volt Relais angeschlossen, können damit auch höher Spannungen geschaltet werden.
