Lane selection

Passing

In order for DC-Cars to be able to drive past other DC-Cars, distance control must be switched off.
This is possible with the automatic bus CV100=14 or the automatic fire brigade CV100=10 in the parking positions
by 2nd magnet or 2 command from function decoder

Overhaul

However, in multi-lane traffic, such as on the Autobahn, the distance control has to be switched on and off.
With the function

  • F3 (front distance control)
  • F13 (rear distance control)

on the digital system or use a function decoder to switch it off.

This makes it possible to stop individual vehicles (rear IR off).
This is difficult with moving vehicles.
With a PC control you can drive in blocks to prevent a collision.
(E.g. at the exhibition facilities in Zagreb with Windigipet control)

Another option is available with the DC car decoders from June 2023.
Lanes can be assigned to a DC car.

The thing about:

  • the Handheld transmitter on June 2023 MSL
  • Function decoder FUSW from June 2023
  • Basic setting CV183 (default = 0, lane 1 right = 1, lane 2 middle = 2, lane 3 left = 4, lane 4 special lane = 8)
