Battery test
Improved and changed function in DC07 and DC08.
Since February 2014, the DC-Car decoders have been delivered with a new program.
This allows the battery test to work if CV27 is changed and CV28 is set.
What to do with "battery empty" we have to set with CV26.
Note the new ' CV List' .
'Set in 3 steps:'
CV26 sets desired function for a battery alarm
CV27 activates the battery test. (disabled by default)
CV28 set limit values
Set comparison values with CV28
NiMH 1 cell 0.95 Volt CV28 = 50
NiMH 2 cells 1.90 Volt CV28 = 100
NiMH 3 cells 2.70 Volt CV28 = 150 '& nbsp; PAY ATTENTION! Do not use with DC07-SI. The voltage converter is damaged. '
LiPO 1 cell 3.00 Volts CV28 = 170 '& nbsp; PAY ATTENTION! Do not use with DC07-SI. The voltage converter is damaged. '
NiMH 3 cells with a diode 1N4001 2.10 Volt CV28 = 110
LiPO 1 cells with a diode 1N4001 2.30 Volt CV28 = 130
Activate the battery test with CV27
The battery test must be activated with CV27.
The wiring for the DC07-I decoders must be correct.
Set warning function with CV26
When the battery is empty, the spotlights will flash at the DC05.
The driving behavior can be adjusted with CV26.
'With DC07 / DC08 is much different!'
When the battery is empty, the hazard lights flash.
'CV26' affects the warning behavior of the battery alarm
Value </ td> | Default </ td> | Modified </ td> </ tr> |
0/1 </ td> | 'CV26 = 0' When the battery alarm is activated, the vehicle continues to operate. As a result, the remaining capacity is quickly used up and the model stands in the way without warning. </ td> | 'CV26 = 1' When the battery alarm is activated, the vehicle stops. During the stop, the IR transmitters will remain operational for some time. |
0/2 </ td> | 'CV26 = 0' (from DC07) Warning lights on battery warning </ td> | 'CV26 = 2' Oud brake light and headlight flash (as for DC07) </ td> </ tr> |
0/4 </ td> | 'CV26 = 0' Charge the battery as "good" or "bad" </ td> | 'CV26 = 4 'charge of the battery is transferred as a percentage to the feedback XT
Possible info: 1-15 </ td> </ tr> |
0/8 </ td> | 'CV26 = 0' no time limit </ td> | 'CV26 = 8' Runtime limit of the vehicle dependent of the battery (see CVs 156 - 159) </ td> </ tr> |
0/16 </ td> | 'CV26 = 0' no time limit </ td> | 'CV26 = 16' Unlimited 4 minutes depending CV160 < / td> </ tr>
</ table> By adding the values, different settings are active. |
